Lloyd Carter is the Director of Restaurant and Bar Design and Partnerships for IHG, covering the IMEA region. He is responsible for aligning F&B partnerships and securing international and local operators to strengthen IHG’s F&B offering throughout the region. Lloyd has more than 25 years international hospitality experience, within leading restaurants groups and F&B brands. He specializes in R&B concept creation - managing the design and development process, especially for properties in the luxury segment. Since moving to the Middle East in 2008, Lloyd has held senior leadership roles within Jumeirah, Alshaya and Meraas Holdings. During this period, he has delivered more than 150 F&B openings, across multiple formats - from coffee shops to fine dining restaurants. He most recently completed a multi-site Expo2020 project, showcasing the best homegrown brands on a global stage.
