A dynamic professional with a deep understanding of the shifting trends in the hospitality marketplace, Rami has over 20 years of experience across multiple layers of hotel development and operations. He is responsible for overseeing growth strategy for Europe’s 2nd largest Hotel chain; Louvre Hotels Group and retains a key role on the board of directors for MENA. The passionate hotelier has supported the growth of the family owned company, cementing it as a leading midscale hotel operator, successfully expanding its portfolio to 57 properties with 35 more in the pipeline. Most recently, Rami established We Hospitality, a UAE based firm that is focused on creating disruptive brands across the hospitality space, with interests in startups including Earth Hotels and General Assembly Pizza of Canada. Rami has overseen 150+ development projects ranging from mixed use new builds to conversions. His wide range of skills honed over decades in real estate and mixed use development are continuously being deployed to support new innovative business ventures across the UAE and beyond. Rami began his career in 2001, held several operational positions with leading hotel chains such as Hyatt, Jumeirah and Kempinski. In 2008 he joined the development team of FRHI Hotels & Resorts working across EMEA markets with his last role there being VP development for MEA region.
