Stephen Kamat is Vice President Brands, Marketing and Communications for Millennium Hotels & Resorts in the Middle East & Africa. He is responsible for developing and implementing the brand strategy and guest experience across Millennium’s regional hotel portfolio. Millennium Hotels & Resorts is a leading regional hospitality company and manage around 50 hotels and 20,000 keys across the Middle East and Africa, across a variety of brands from midscale to luxury, resorts to serviced apartments. He is a hospitality veteran and brand specialist with over 20 years’ experience who has led a large number of successful holistic branding programmes bringing an integrated approach across disciplines. Having worked on projects across the Middle East he understands the cross-cultural levers that allows hotel brands to connect meaningfully with their guests, which in turn delivers maximum impact and value to the brands and concepts he works on. He has been privileged to help develop some of Millennium’s most important brands including the Millennium portfolio, the luxury brand The Biltmore and was lead on identifying and developing the affordable lifestyle brand Studio M. Prior to this Stephen worked with Radisson Hotels across the region, building and shaping communications for some of Radisson’s best loved brands. He holds a BA Hons in Marketing, is a creative thinker and is passionate about how experience can build brand advocacy.
