Sanjay Sharma joined Jumeirah Group in December 2018 as Head of Information Technology. He brings with him extensive experience particularly in Digital Transformation initiatives, which will greatly assist the Group in its growth strategy. Sanjay came to Jumeirah from Emirates Airline, where during his 20-year career, he held a variety of positions across the Information Technology environment. His expansive project work encompassed a wealth of innovation including both the customer journey as well as the organizational infrastructure. He is very passionate for driving business transformation, change and outcomes with innovation and technology. He is instrumental in driving the Digital strategy in Jumeirah Group where he has successfully launched 8 new digital channels in last 12 months to transform the way we engage with our customers. In addition, he is aggressively driving the Cloud strategy for various IT systems to lower the IT Cost of operations and increase our speed to market. Some of the key programs Sanjay is focusing this year are Backoffice Transformation, B2B Strategy and enhancing the Guest experience. An Indian national, Sanjay has a Master’s degree from Bradford University in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in computer science and Engineering from India.
