Hoor Al Khaja is Associate Vice President in International Operations within the Dubai Corporation of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM) – the body responsible for the branding, promotion and marketing of the Emirate of Dubai. Hoor joined the Corporation in 2013, initially as Associate in the Strategy & Tourism Sector Development department, before transferring to the International Operations Department, where she worked on various different markets for the past 5 years, most notably the Asia Pacific region where she focused on driving the inbound China Market Strategy to Dubai, pushing China up from Dubai’s 11th source market to its 4th. She now oversees all global markets under the Division. An experienced public speaker, Hoor acts as a DCTCM spokesperson at key events and road shows, working to highlight Dubai’s position as a global business and leisure destination. Prior to this, Hoor spent two and a half years working as Senior Research Analyst, Policy and Strategy Sector in the Prime Minister’s Office – Ministry of Cabinet Affairs. She also holds a degree in Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah, with specialisms in Economics and Finance.
