Shwetank leads the Golden Sands Hotels Operations, with overall responsibility of the company, managing a diversified portfolio of Hilton, Marriott and TAJ hotels in the luxury and upscale segments. In his previous role with InterGlobe Hotels in India, he served as Vice-President for Development & Asset Management. As head of asset management he oversaw a $1.5Bn portfolio of 30 hotels in India (4500 keys) and a further 13 hotels (1500 keys) in key gateway cities in Europe and Australia. As the Head of the Development he lead the acquisitions team and was responsible for several acquisitions of greenfield and brownfield projects in Europe and in India. A big believer in people he lead Culture and Digital transformation projects for the group along with some key strategic ones at InterGlobe Air Transport. Before joining InterGlobe Hotels (IGH) in 2014, Mr. Singh was the Regional Vice President at Premier Inn India. He was the head of India business. Prior to his stint with hospitality he has worked in in Consumer and Investment Banking with Citibank, ABN Amro and IL&FS. Mr. Singh holds a Post Graduate Degree in FMS New Delhi, major in Finance and Marketing and an engineering degree from IIT.
