Lorelei is the MasterKey Keeper of StayK; a new Dubai-based domestic-focused Online Travel Agency launching in October 2022. StayK has been crafted with two purposes in mind: for hoteliers to unlock the full potential of their domestic market promotion and revenue strategy; and for domestic travelers to spend less time searching for their next staycation in the UAE, only time to enjoy it. Our mission is to become local travelers’ key to their next getaway. But first and foremost, Lorelei is a hoteliere at heart. She started her career in the hospitality industry in 2009 as an F&B Intern at the Hotel de Crillon in Paris. In 2012, she joined the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi after her graduation, as a Rooms Division Management Trainee. She pursued her career thereafter at Le Bristol in Paris, a 5-star Palace hotel, as a Reservation Agent. She was then promoted to the corporate office of Oetker Collection as a Junior Marketing Coordinator until reaching the role of E-Commerce Manager – piloting the digital strategy for 9 exclusive Oetker Collection hotels around the world. She then decided to take on a new international challenge that led her back to Abu Dhabi, where she became Marketing & Communication Manager of the Rosewood Hotel. She took on another role at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, overseeing the cluster with the Hilton and Al Hamra Residence & Villages properties, as an E-Commerce Manager. Her 360-degree experience in the luxury hospitality industry, her personal beliefs, along with the UAE’s vision and leadership inspired her the idea of StayK and ultimately, the desire to leave a positive and high-impact footprint with hoteliers, by having an open and close relationship with hoteliers in the region, and the desire to humanise the online booking journey for local travelers. Lorelei’s key word for StayK and herself as an individual is transparency; with hoteliers, with local travelers and StayK’s stakeholders; as she firmly believes this will be the ultimate key to StayK’s foundation and for its future.
