Based at Hilton’s regional office in Dubai, Carlos is charged with spearheading the growth of the Hilton portfolio across the Middle East & Africa, which features more than 280 hotels trading or under development across 11 brands. Under Carlos’s leadership, Hilton has enjoyed year-on-year, organic growth in the region. BACKGROUND Carlos started his career in the hospitality industry in 1998, gaining broad experience across the sector, before focusing on finance and asset management positions over a nine-year period. Carlos joined Hilton in 2009, overseeing the company’s growth within the Middle East & North Africa region. In 2020 he began overseeing Hilton’s development operations in Sub-Saharan Africa. He holds a BA in Business Administration and Finance from Notre Dame University, Lebanon and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). LANGUAGES A native of Lebanon, Carlos is fluent in Arabic, English and French.
