Matthew Dadd has served as Acting General Manager of Yas Asset Management (YAM) since November 2021. His previous position saw him carry out duties at YAM as Head of Property and Leasing since May 2020. In his capacity as Acting General Manager, Matthew is responsible for providing strategic guidance to his colleagues who include directors, managers and team leaders. Leading a wholly owned subsidiary of Miral, Matthew works closely with senior Miral leadership to streamline operations and synergies on a destination level. Matthew is known for cultivating a team environment that innovates, provides exceptional guest service and ensures that the strategic objectives of the company are achieved. A committed leader with over 19 years’ experience, Matthew was previously at Knight Frank Middle East for twelve years, where he progressed up the corporate ladder. He most recently held the position of Partner and has contributed to various thought leadership pieces published online. Preceding that, Matthew held several key positions across the Middle East within the sector. Matthew’s extensive experience within the global real estate industry, particularly with managing real estate portfolios to meet strategic objectives offers a tremendous benefit to Yas Asset Management in the development of world-class leisure and retail facilities. Matthew has been accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). A native of United Kingdom, Matthew currently resides in Abu Dhabi with his wife and two children.
