A man wearing many hats, Grenard also plays an integral part of wasl’s partnership with Dubai’s Ministry of Food and Water Security, aimed at developing Dubai’s Food Tech Valley, and is also the co-founder of the non-profit entity, UAE Restaurants Group. Max Grenard oversees over 150 outlets across wasl Hospitality & Leisure’s fast-growing portfolio spanning 32 hotels and serviced apartments plus country clubs in the region, from its concept development to tactical direction. This includes properties such as Park Hyatt, Mandarin Oriental, Westin Dubai Beach Resort & Marina, and distinct dining outlets counting carine by Chef Izu, Twiggy by La Cantine, Bussola, Barasti, Miyako and Boardwalk, to name a few. With a proven track record of successful commercial dining outlet openings in recent years, Grenard has significantly diversified Dubai’s F&B landscape and showcased creative and innovative concepts in the restaurant and nightlife scene. The acquisition of Topgolf by wasl Hospitality & Leisure in 2020 is a key expansion that seeks to further capitalize on the growing popularity of entertainment and social gaming with new concepts. As the group adds Abu Dhabi’s Yas Links Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, and Yas Acres Golf & Country Club to its vast portfolio, the capital can expect the trailblazing touch of Grenard to arrive to its city’s dining scene.
