Rolando Zubiran is innovation and emerging technologies specialist with 15+ years of professional experience in both government and enterprise, specializing in Entrepreneurship, Economic Development and Economic Policy, Rolando is a Deep Tech Investor and a WEB 3 & Blockchain Business Ideation Consultant. His professional experience has revolved within the entire entrepreneurship and corporate ecosystem, now focused as an impact investor and scale-up consultant, particularly in developing economies. He is an Emerging Tech and Innovation advisor to several multinational corporations and high performing organisations. He is the Founder & CEO of MESMR, an experience economy company that leverages technology to provide immersive, intelligent data driven experiences for companies to engage with new generations of consumers. He currently serves as Member of the Board for Beacon Media, a Global Media & Entertainment Company Co-Founded by Deepak Chopra that leverages a data-driven and technology-enabled approach to production, allocation and distribution. Dubai based, currently financing films across multiple regions across the globe. In the media and entertainment industry Rolando is Executive Producer & Head of Web3 Experience Economy for Pirexia Films which has produced multiple films and documentaries, including Olimpia, winner of an Ariel to best feature length animated film. Launched Corazonada 2021, featured in Rotterdam Film Festival and the International Film Festival at Los Cabos. Co-Founder JM Cravioto was the general director for the Netflix series El Chapo, Mexican Gangster feature film, awarded 4 Ariels, Bound to Vengeance, featured in 2015 in Sundance Film Festival and winner at Sitges Barcelona. Additionally JM was executive producer for Netflix Diablero series and current director for Monarca Series. Active member of MENSA International´s High IQ Society, He has been awarded multiple distinctions from several organizations including the Star Partner Award by the United States Department of Commerce. He is a certified Skipper and a Karate JKA Black Belt. MBA from University of Oxford Singularity University EP in Emerging Technologies Master of Economics and Public Administration from the London School of Economics Master in Public Affairs from Sciences Po, Paris PhD in Public Policy from the Graduate School of Public Policy of Monterrey Tec ITESM.
