Engagement at Louvre Abu Dhabi in January 2022. This department manages five sectors: International and Institutional Affairs, Education, Interpretation and Creative content, Cultural Programs and Publications. He has been involved in Louvre Abu Dhabi project since 2008 and has played an integral role in the development and growth of the museum. Bertoni started his career at the Ministry of Culture and Communication of France where he worked as a research analyst (2006). Soon after, he became a project officer at Agence France-Muséums, where led on key aspects of the prestigious Louvre Abu Dhabi project. In 2010, he became an Institutional Affairs Manager and was later promoted to External Relations Manager in 2013 and moved to Abu Dhabi as part of the museum pre-opening team. Ugo Bertoni's educational background includes studying at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lettres et Sciences Humaines, Sorbonne University, and Science Po (Political Sciences Institute). He holds three master's degrees in political science, law and public administration, and philosophy. From 2009 to 2013, Bertoni also worked as a Lecturer at Sciences Po conducting seminars in the field of international cultural policy. Bertoni holds the title of Chevalier (Knight) des Arts et des Lettres, which is a honor awarded by the French government to individuals who have made significant contributions to the arts and culture landscape.
