Rashid Aboobacker is the Portfolio Director of Asset Management at Rua Al Madinah Holding, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), that aims to elevate the experience of residents and visitors to the holy city of Madinah through a range of holistic urban development projects. As the owner representative, he is directly involved in the strategy and development of hotel, branded residence, retail, and office components within the Rua Al Madinah Project. Previously, he was the Director of Business Development at Amaala based in Riyadh. Prior to that, he was a Director at TRI Consulting in Dubai where he provided strategic and development advice to developers and owners of hospitality and mixed-use projects across the MENA region. Rashid holds a Master’ Degree in International Business and certificates from Cornell University and the London School of Economics.
