Saujanya Acharya, in partnership with co-founder Prachet, founded Neumo with a mission to simplify global transactions for travelers without credit cards. Their motivation arose from personal experiences dealing with the hurdles posed by credit card requirements for hotel bookings and security deposits. In regions where credit card adoption remains low, particularly in emerging markets across Asia and Africa, Neumo is dedicated to bridging this gap by establishing a robust network of real-time payment wallets. Saujanya, originally from Nepal and having spent nearly two decades in Tokyo, Japan, possesses fluency in English, Japanese, and Nepali. Saujanya was also the Entrepreneur in Residence for Intelak Hub, Dubai.
