Andreas is a senior member of the Real Estate Finance team within Global Corporate Finance and leads all international (non MENA) Real Estate lending activity at FAB with a focus on supporting institutional sponsorship groups with best-in-class financing solutions in key global markets. Andreas has close to 20 years of experience in the Real Estate sector across a variety of disciplines including Origination and Underwriting, Portfolio Management, Restructuring, Fundraising, Complex Transactions and Execution and Private Equity Strategies. Andreas joined FAB in 2019 from a Private Equity Group in London where he was a Managing Director, responsible for their mid-market lending business and fundraising activities across Europe. Andreas was also involved in the setup of joint ventures with both US Private Equity and Sovereign Wealth Funds to undertake a variety of credit strategies including the acquisition of distressed and sub-performing debt, special situations investments and new lending activities. Prior to this Andreas worked across the UK & Ireland for Lloyds Banking Group and Anglo Irish Bank operating in UK and European markets. Andreas holds an MBA, specializing in Banking & Finance from the University of Bangor and an MA in Business Management from the University of Glasgow Business School. Andreas is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in the UK, holds a Certificate in Investment Planning and is an FCA approved person.
