Waleed M. Abualnadi serves as the Commercial Director at Saudi Icon, bringing with him a rich professional background immersed in the construction, engineering, and fitout industry spanning nine years. His journey is marked by an unwavering commitment to continuous growth and excellence. Beginning his career with an engineering internship at Drake & Skull (ICC in KSA), Waleed acquired invaluable hands-on experience. Transitioning to the role of Electrical Engineer at ABEG KSA, he further honed his skills. Since 2016, Waleed has been pivotal in the success of Saudi Icon where he currently holding the position of Commercial Director. In his multifaceted role, Waleed adeptly manages three critical dimensions—cost analysis, technical documentation, presentations, and day-to-day commercial aspects of projects. His noteworthy contributions to the successful bids for Saudi Icon cannot be understated, helping to deliver high-profile hospitality projects, including the JW Marriott, Four Points Sheraton, Sindalah Hotel Clusters, and the Red Sea Global hotel projects. Beyond hospitality, Waleed has played a significant role in securing various projects in the government, semi-government, and private sectors. Waleed holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut. Beyond that, he earned his Masters degree from Leeds University in the UK, equipping him with advanced skills in managing engineering/tech business units. Outside the professional sphere, Waleed is a devoted husband and father to two wonderful children, Elyse and Mohammad. The intersection of his personal and professional life is evident through his marriage to a seasoned hotelier, offering a unique perspective on the hospitality industry. Waleed eagerly anticipates contributing insights and engaging with industry professionals at the Future Hospitality Summit.
