Ensuring a Great Event Experience for Everyone
We aim to provide a fantastic experience for everyone involved in our events and we are committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality or religion.
All participants, whether you're attending, speaking, exhibiting, sponsoring, or working with us, are expected to adhere to the following Code of Conduct to create an inclusive environment where everyone can engage and benefit.
Be Respectful
- Treat all participants, including staff, volunteers, and fellow delegates, with respect and courtesy.
- Respect differing viewpoints and engage in discussions with open-mindedness and professionalism.
- Be mindful of local laws and regulations.
- Avoid any actions that endanger others or compromise their ability to act safely.
- Follow the venue and event organiser’s rules regarding alcohol consumption, smoking, vaping, and tobacco use, and only partake in these activities where and when permitted.
Harassment-Free Environment
- We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment of any kind, including sexual harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behaviour.
- Avoid using offensive, demeaning, or discriminatory language or gestures, including verbal harassment, sexually explicit language, profanity, obscenity, or racial, religious, or ethnic slurs.
- Unwelcome attention, physical contact, or sexual advances are not acceptable.
Respect Privacy
- Do not take photographs or record participants without their consent.
- Respect the privacy and personal boundaries of others.
Inclusivity
- Be mindful of inclusivity and diversity when engaging in conversations.
- Make an effort to ensure everyone has the chance to fully participate in discussions and activities.
Digital Etiquette
- Use appropriate and respectful language in all communications, including online chat functions and social media.
- Respect other delegates’ contributions and be mindful of sharing and consuming digital content during and after the conference.
Sharing of Badges and Registration Codes
Badges and registration codes are personal and non-transferable. Sharing or swapping badges, or sharing registration codes with others, is strictly prohibited. Each badge or code is linked to an individual participant and grants access to the event based on that person’s registration. Misuse of badges or registration codes undermines event security and integrity. Any participant found sharing or using another person's badge or code will face immediate removal from the event and may be barred from attending future events. Organisers reserve the right to enforce these rules to maintain a safe and fair environment for all attendees.
Reporting Concerns
If you experience or witness any harassment, intimidation or inappropriate behaviour, please report it immediately to a member of the conference organising team.
All reports will be handled confidentially and investigated promptly.
Consequences for Violating the Code of Conduct
We have zero tolerance for verbal or physical threats, violence, abuse, or harassment. Anyone violating the Code of Conduct will be asked to stop the unacceptable behaviour and must comply immediately. If a participant continues to engage in misconduct or fails to follow the Code of Conduct, the organisers, their representatives, and/or security may take the following actions:
- Immediate expulsion from the event without warning or refund.
- Disqualification from participating in future events, including a ban from attending, speaking, exhibiting, sponsoring, or engaging on our event platforms, social media channels, and digital spaces.
- Reporting unlawful behaviour to relevant local or national authorities.
The Code of Conduct may be updated at any time and is non-negotiable.
