With a deep-rooted passion for sustainability and a love of restaurants, Henrik Winther, an enthusiastic entrepreneur and respected industry leader, steps forward into the UAE food & beverage scene to bring Tigrus Holding to the GCC with the launch of Shvili and Osteria Mario at Dubai Hills Mall. Originally from Denmark, Henrik’s interest in the hospitality industry began at a young age. He has over 40 years of international experience in CIS, France and the USA and has launched over 430 restaurants globally throughout his career. Henrik operates a sustainable business model at Tigrus Holding through many environmentally friendly initiatives, including zero-waste restaurants and Sponsorsing wildlife. Tigrus Holding was founded in 2005. It has a presence in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Central Asia and operates 54 restaurants globally including Osteria Mario and Shvili. Tigrus follows a sustainable and eco-friendly philosophy that strives to restore and maintain the planet's resources. It's the first and only restaurant holding in Europe to fully compensate for its carbon footprint, and since 2018 has followed a path of conscious consumption and zero waste across all its outlets.
