Fawaz Moumina is the country manager and senior director of operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) at Hilton. Born in Jeddah, Moumina pursued a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the 6th of October University in Cairo, Egypt. He then obtained a certificate in HR business partnership from Cornell University, in New York, USA. Moumina joined Hilton in 2012 as the country director of human resources in KSA, leading the HR function and talent development practices for the operating hotels in the country as well as expanding Hilton’s footprint in KSA. He then progressed through several roles including regional director of HR for KSA and Levant and lastly as the senior director of HR for KSA, Egypt, and Levant before taking leadership of Hilton in KSA as country manager in July 2023. Under his leadership, Hilton in Saudi Arabia has been ranked in the top 5 positions in Great Places to Work for 9 years in a row. In his current role, Moumina oversees operations across Hilton’s 18 trading properties in KSA along with a growing pipeline of more than 60 hotels to open across the Kingdom in the coming years. Before that, Moumina worked for PepsiCo for five years and was the regional HR manager for its food operations in the west, north, and south parts of KSA.
