Profile
Lynne Bellinger
Director of Food & Beverage Design & Development
Marriott International EAME
Joining the Marriott family in 2017, Lynne drives the development projects for food and beverage, taking care of any partnership deals and supporting solutions that drive incremental revenue. A big part of this is the sourcing and management of third-party restaurant brand and operator relationships to support Marriott’s overall Food & Beverage strategy and add value and brand recognition to hotels across the Europe, Middle East & Africa region. A British national, Lynne has worked her entire career in the hospitality industry, and has worked in the Middle East for over 30 years. Prior to joining Marriott, Lynne founded and managed her own business, sourcing internationally renowned restaurant brands, celebrity chefs and unique bar and entertainment concepts for hotels and developers here in the UAE. In addition, Lynne was the founder of hospitality recruitment specialists, The Hospitality Company as well as Purple Cubed UAE, a franchise of the UK’s leading solutions provider for employee engagement, development and retention to hospitality and other service industries. Before her entrepreneurial days, Lynne’s career was within the five-star hotel industry. With hands-on experience forged through an initial operations career path, she rapidly built her expertise in human resources. She has worked for hotel brands such as Forte Hotels, Starwood Hotels, and as part of the opening team at the One&Only Royal Mirage where she led the human resources and training department in the successful launch of this prestigious property. Lynne has been a speaker for many trade shows and has taken part in panel discussions as both chair and participant; as well as being part of various industry judging panels over the years for Restaurant and Hotel Awards.
