As a hospitality expert with two decades of experience, lead the development of NEOM’s unique hotel brands and concepts, as well as marketing and communications for NEOM Hotel Division. Also, responsible for strategy implementation and the digital guest experience. Maria’s track record includes brand building, quality management and various change management projects, resulting in process enhancements and efficient service deliveries across all business channels. She has a wealth of experience in creating distinct brand assets and executing integrated strategic marketing campaigns. While her expertise in hospitality guest insights, market segmentation, competitive intelligence and industry trends have seen her lead and implement brand experiences for properties across the UAE, Italy and Egypt. Fluent in Swedish and English, she received a Diploma in Project Management from the IHM Business School and is certified in Executive Leadership from Cornell University. Maria also holds a Diploma in Business Psychology, and is working towards a Master’s in Business Management, both from the University of Essex.
