Rashid Aboobacker is the Portfolio Director of Asset Management at Rua Al Madinah Holding, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) that aims to elevate the experience of residents and visitors to the holy city of Madinah through a range of holistic urban development projects. As the owner's representative, he currently oversees the construction of hotel and branded residence assets as well as managing the retail and office components within Rua Al Madinah development project. Rashid previously held the post of Director of Business Development at the Riyadh-based Amaala. Prior to that, he worked as a director at TRI Consulting in Dubai, where he gave developers and owners of hospitality and mixed-use properties in the MENA area strategic guidance. Rashid Aboobacker holds certificates from esteemed organizations, including Cornell University and the London School of Economics, as well as a Master's degree in international business
