Holkan Vasquez is a Ph.D. candidate in Environmental Sciences and Engineering at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia, specializing in the intersection of energy and environmental studies. Holds a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Engineering from Tecnologico de Monterrey, with a thesis that employed Life Cycle Assessment to quantify the environmental impacts of renewable energy sources, such as geothermal energy. Additionally, earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on sustainable development from Universidad del Valle de Mexico. With a foundational background in Mechatronics Engineering from Tecnologico de Monterrey, I am a dedicated young researcher passionate about climate change, circular economy, and sustainable development.
