Lorelei is the MasterKey Keeper (Founder & CEO) of StayK; and a hoteliere at heart. Launched in the summer of 2023, StayK is a Dubai-born experience-driven and domestic-focused Online Travel Agency, bridging the gap between staycation-fit hotels and local travelers, with a marketing agency approach in mind. Lorelei started her career in the luxury hospitality industry in 2009, as an F&B Intern at the Hotel de Crillon in Paris, a Rosewood Hotel. After university, she joined Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi in 2012, as a Rooms Division Intern. Followed by roles in 5 star hotels at Le Bristol Paris as a reservation agent, at Corporate Level at Oetker Collection as a Global E-Commerce Manager piloting the digital strategy for 9 luxury hotels, and heading back to the UAE as a Marketing & Communications Manager at Rosewood Abu Dhabi and at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah as an E-Commerce Manager. Her 360-degree experience in the luxury hospitality industry, the observed market gap and need for a staycation-focused OTA, along with the ever-innovative and dynamic GCC’s tourism landscape, inspired her the idea of StayK, with the desire to leave a positive and high-impact footprint with hoteliers, and to humanize the online booking journey for local travelers.
