Adnan Shamim is the Chief Asset Management Officer of a [to be announced] hospitality ownership entity under the Public Investment Fund since late 2022. Adnan’s team oversee business intelligence, investment strategy, and [re]development activities across hotels and conference centers within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia including Ritz Carlton, Le Meridien, and Intercontinental branded properties. Previously, Adnan spent over 8 years building and asset managing an international luxury hotel portfolio of Four Seasons and Marriott hotels, based out of Bahrain.

Prior to his career in hospitality asset management, Adnan spent the first ten years of his career in development planning and feasibility between the US, UK, and UAE when he worked for owners, developers, brands and operators on hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, branded residences, and mixed-use projects with extensive experience in luxury resorts and supporting amenities.

Adnan is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and earned his MBA from London Business School. He has guest lectured on Asset Management topics at École hôtelière de Lausanne and is actively involved with the Cornell Hotel Society and the Hospitality Asset Management Association.
