Knowledge Economic City
Knowledge Economic City (KEC) is a publicly listed company in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, envisioned by the late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. Established in 2010 as the third of four Economic Cities in the Kingdom, KEC serves as a catalyst for economic diversification and development, with a focus on advancing knowledge-based industries and creating new opportunities for investment and growth.
Spanning approximately 6.8 million square meters, KEC is strategically located in Al-Madinah, positioning it as a hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment. KEC is developing a portfolio of mixed-use projects that integrate commercial and retail, residential, hospitality, education, and healthcare components, creating vibrant, connected destinations that support the City’s broader economic and social objectives.
Regulated by the Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority (ECZA), KEC aims to create a sustainable economic ecosystem aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s ambitions for future growth and job creation.
