Wesam Okasha is a seasoned hospitality professional with an impressive track record in the industry. He currently holds the position of Managing Director and Board Member at TUI BLUE Hotels LLC in Dubai, which is part of the world’s leading tourism group TUI. TUI Group owns and operates over 400 hotels and resorts in over 30 destinations with premium brands such as RIU, TUI BLUE, TUI Suneo, TUI Magic Life, Robinson, 16 cruise ships, 5 airlines with more than 130 modern medium and long-haul aircraft, and around 1,200 travel agencies. Since 2021, Wesam has also been serving as the Head of Global Development for the TUI BLUE Hotels & Resorts brand. Before joining TUI, Wesam held various General Manager and Vice President positions at renowned hospitality brands including ITS Group, RIU Hotels, ESI Global (USA), FTI Group (SIVA Hotel Division), and Melia Hotels between 1996 and 2001. In 2002, he was appointed as Managing Director and General Manager at Neckermann/Aldiana Senegal, where he excelled in his role. Wesam's career progressed with his appointment as Vice President Sales & Services at The Lufthansa Group and LSG Sky Chefs in 2011. He then worked as a Development Advisor for TUI in 2014 and later joined Mangalis Hotel Group as Head of Business Development in 2017. In 2018, he was appointed as Senior Director Development West Africa at Hilton, where he brought his vast experience and exceptional international relationships to the table. Wesam is fluent in Arabic, French, English, German, Spanish, and conversant in Italian and Hebrew. He has a versatile professional background and a deep understanding of different cultural settings in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
