Bhagya is the Head of the Investor Relations Unit (IRU) of SLTDA, the centralized facilitation centre for tourism investments in Sri Lanka. She led the streamlining process of IRU together with all government agencies partnering tourism development in the country creating a hassle-free investor experience. She has 12 years’ experience in the tourism sector in successful implementation of diverse tourism projects, contributed in sustainability initiatives in tourism. Currently, she’s spearheading SLTDA-IRU’s campaign in laying the foundations to source and secure high-quality, values-aligned investments into Sri Lanka's tourism sector with a publicly-accessible tourism investment land bank of properties across Sri Lanka.
