Larissa Esser is a dedicated expert in hotel investment and real estate finance, whose background in hotel operations enables her to effectively integrate global capital market insights with fundamental real estate knowledge. Throughout her career, Larissa has advised on a wide range of transactions and financing assignments across the globe. She has gained extensive experience in her previous roles at leading multinational real estate investment banking and property brokerage firms, including Eastdil Secured and JLL. In 2020, Larissa founded her own consultancy, Esser Advisory. The following year, she teamed up with senior hospitality and investment professionals to establish Hera HRI, a fully integrated hospitality operating partner and co-investor. Larissa possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and is deeply passionate about education and knowledge sharing. She actively participates in various initiatives, including the Urban Land Institute (ULI), where she co-chairs the Hotel, Resorts, and Destinations Council. Her efforts focus on inspiring positive changes for sustainable urban environments and highlighting the pivotal role the hotel- and hospitality industry can play in this process. Currently, Larissa serves as a Senior Director and Advisor to Colliers’ International Hotels team. In this prominent role, she leads and supports complex, high-profile hospitality and real estate deals, collaborating closely with local teams to leverage global knowledge and best practices.
