Alyshia Mangalji is the Vice President of Europe and Africa at Westmont Hospitality, where she oversees strategy, operations, value-add opportunities and asset management across the regions. Based in London, she plays a pivotal role in guiding the teams to identify and capitalize on new projects and investments, ensuring Westmont’s continued growth and success. Westmont Hospitality was founded by Ms Mangalji’s father and his family over 45 years ago. From a single hotel, it has become one of the largest private hotel owner/operators in the world with significant presence in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Although Westmont has a global reach, it remains a family-owned business, deeply rooted in its founding principles. Alyshia brings a wealth of experience across various sectors of the hospitality industry, including asset management, operations, design, and brand repositioning. Beyond her hospitality focus, she also manages several non-hotel investments for the family’s private portfolio. As a Board member, Ms Mangalji contributes to Westmont’s global strategy by ensuring that commercial realities are effectively communicated across the organization, fostering a unified vision for growth and excellence. In the impact space, Ms Mangalji is passionate about tangibly supporting entrepreneurship and education via University of West London’s Westmont Enterprise Hub and sits on the Board of the Westmont Institute of Tourism and Hospitality in partnership with NOVA SBE in Portugal. Ms Mangalji has a bachelor’s degree from The School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and an MBA from The University of Oxford—Saïd Business School.
