Eddy Tannous is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies in the region with hotels across the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Türkiye. In his current position, Tannous is driving the growth and expansion of Rotana and his responsibilities include the successful opening of our new properties and creating synergy among Rotana properties in all aspects of our operations. Tannous commenced his journey with Rotana in August 2023, bringing with him an extensive background of over 20 years in effectively overseeing hotel operations within large hotel groups. His career path has covered significant positions within the Middle East's hospitality sector, collaborating with well-known global brands. Most recently, he held the position of Senior Vice President, Operations, where he supervised operational performance across Fairmont's Middle East and Asian properties. Prior to that role, Tannous served as Vice President, Operations for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at Accor, where he managed the country's entire portfolio, comprising over 40 operating hotels and 40 pipeline projects. Tannous possesses a proven track record of delivering success in various facets of the hospitality industry, encompassing operations, customer satisfaction, strategic expansion, marketing, and more, for some of the region's most renowned hospitality brands. At Rotana, Tannous will continue to strengthen the Rotana brand's presence in global markets. He remains committed to advancing the group's global footprint while ensuring robust and consistent financial performance, all with the ultimate goal of creating shareholder value.
