Rahul Dahiya

I am a passionate advocate for sustainability, with roots in India and a rich history of involvement in impactful projects. At the age of 16, I had the privilege of working on United Nations sustainability initiatives, which ignited my lifelong commitment to this critical cause. This early experience fueled my drive to explore and contribute to sustainable solutions on a global scale. My professional journey includes a significant role as a project manager for the Ministry of Education Italy during Expo 2020 Dubai. This opportunity deepened my understanding of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and expanded my network within the industry. Midway through my bachelor’s in hospitality management, I relocated to London to continue my education at the University of West London, where I am currently in my final year. During my first year, I connected with like-minded individuals, Marco and Andrei, who shared my vision for a sustainable future. Our collective determination to effect positive change has been a cornerstone of my journey. After completing an enriching internship at a Forbes property in the United States, I was invited to participate in the Sustainable Hospitality Challenge. This opportunity has allowed me to further my knowledge and contribute to innovative solutions in sustainable hospitality. I look forward to sharing my insights and experiences, and to collaborating with fellow enthusiasts to create a more sustainable world.
