Asad has over 25 years’ experience in corporate banking, asset restructuring, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and strategic advisory in New York, Toronto and Dubai. He joined Mashreq in 2006 where his focus has primarily been in the real estate space, corporate banking and investment banking. Asad manages a large portfolio of real estate corporate clients across GREs, private developers, and family groups. He has structured and financed transactions across diversified real estate asset classes including residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and industrial sectors in the GCC, US and UK. Asad has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and History from Brandeis University. He also has a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University and a MBA from Columbia Business School.
