Dr. Hanin Al-Subaie is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Darent, an innovative company at the forefront of tourism and real estate technology. With over nine years of experience in real estate and property management, she leverages her extensive knowledge to drive the evolution of the vacation rental market. Dr. Al-Subaie earned her PhD in Environmental Biology from King Saud University, with first Honor. Earlier in her career, she gained valuable experience working for Nestlé, a global food leader, where she honed her business during her studies. Dr. Al-Subaie later established her own real estate management company focused on the tourism sector, which allowed her to expand into the emerging field of real estate technology. In 2021, she founded Darent with license from the Ministry of Tourism, positioning the company as a key player in the daily and vacation rental space. Under her leadership, Darent has embraced technology to redefine the customer experience and foster sustainable tourism practices. Dr. Al-Subaie is a recognized leader and has been invited to speak at several prominent events. Notably, she participated in the Human Capabilities Initiative sponsored by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud in 2024, where she addressed ministers and leaders from across the Kingdom. Additionally, she was a key speaker at the Environment Forum for Smart Buildings in 2023, focusing on advancements in real estate technologies. Her contributions to the travel and tourism sectors were acknowledged in 2024 when Forbes magazine named Dr. Al-Subaie one of the 100 most influential Tourism leaders in the industry.
