Additionally, in 2021, WKC Global was the first female-led PR agency to accept cryptocurrency as payment for services. As the co-creator of The Enternship, a charitable initiative aimed at helping women re-enter the workforce and rebrand themselves by leveraging the power of PR and social media, Gwen has helped countless women since 2014. The program, which has been hailed as pioneering an entire “re-entry” movement, has received widespread recognition, with over three billion media impressions including CNN, FOX Business, Time, The Glossy, Forbes, Inc, NY Post, CNBC, The London Free Press, and Money. Even famed Hollywood director Nancy Meyers, creator of the movie The Intern, tweeted out about The Enternship. Gwen started her career in public relations in 2001, when the corporate male dominated PR world was prevalent on Madison Ave. She was part of a tiny group of relentless female, small business owners who challenged the status quo in New York City by opening boutique-style, “pop-culture driven” PR agencies. Her early client roster included MTV, Coca Cola, Dwell, Absolut Vodka, Camp Beverly Hills, Roc-A-Fella Records and more. In demand as a speaker and authority on public relations, communications and branding, Gwen has spoken at The Women’s Conference in Boston and Texas, at Florida International University, the Fashion Institute of Technology, and Bergdorf Goodman.
