Beaufort Global Founded in Dubai in 2009, Beaufort Global is a UAE-based FDI, asset management, investment and development firm with a global remit. It focuses on hospitality real estate, including hotels and resorts, mixed-use, residential, commercial, infrastructure, master development and bilateral FDI initiatives. The firm has built relationships of trust at the highest levels of government and across the public and private sectors, delivering results on global mandates. René Beil, Managing Director of Beaufort Global, brings a lifetime of experience in hospitality investment, asset management, development, operations and finance, with roots in an international luxury family-owned hotel brand. He has led FDI, investment and development initiatives across multiple continents for sovereign wealth funds, governments, public and private companies, royal families, UHNWIs and family offices. Born in Singapore and raised across Southeast Asia and Europe, he began his career with InterContinental Hotels and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. He holds a Bachelor's in Hotel Management with a Minor in Marketing, and a Master's in Finance and Economics, from Boston University. He is attending the acclaimed Owner/President Management (OPM) Program at Harvard Business School. In his previous role as Vice President Asset Management at Dubai Investment Group, his responsibilities included Dubai Holding's USD 7+ billion international hotel and real estate portfolio, featuring the Burj Al Arab, Emirates Towers and Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts. He also led the expansion of Middle East–Latin America investment and trade. He is the elected President and a founding member of HAMA MEA, the Middle East & Africa chapter of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association. He is fluent in English, French, German and Dutch, and proficient in Spanish.
