Mohammed Al Ahbabi is a senior Emirati government leader and strategic communications professional currently serving as Director at the UAE Ministry of Economy & Tourism - the federal authority driving the UAE's economic diversification, investment strategy, and national tourism agenda. With over 15 years of experience across government, events, and media, Mr. Al Ahbabi's career spans some of the UAE's most high-profile national undertakings. He led government communications for COP28, the landmark UN climate conference that drew over 90,000 delegates from nearly 200 countries. As Manager of Engagement and Government Affairs at Expo 2020 Dubai, he contributed to the delivery of the world's largest post-pandemic event, which recorded over 24 million visits and participation from 192 nations. He also held senior roles at Dubai Tourism (DTCM) and Yahsat, Abu Dhabi's sovereign satellite operator. Mr. Al Ahbabi holds an MBA from the University of Gloucestershire and a BBA from the University of Dubai.
