Simon Leigh is Managing Director of Premier Inn Hotels Middle East, a joint venture between Emirates Group and Whitbread Plc. He leads the business across the GCC, overseeing 11 hotels and more than 3,200 rooms across owned, managed and joint-venture operations. Under Simon’s leadership, Premier Inn Middle East has returned to profitability, doubled EBITDA and reinstated shareholder dividends, creating a strong platform for its next phase of growth. His focus is now on disciplined, capital-efficient expansion across the region, including Saudi Arabia, while continuing to strengthen the brand’s established position in the UAE.
