With 20 years of experience in the tourism industry, Teona Nemsitsveridze is Head of the Standards Committee at the Georgian Tourism Association and Founder of Standards in Tourism Ltd, successfully driving the formation and development of sustainable tourism destinations. For 17 years, she built and led a multimillion-dollar Travel company, which was twice recognised as one of Georgia’s leading tour operators, gaining extensive experience in international tourism, business development and destination management. Today, as a representative of the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, she is focused on introducing Vera-FY—an innovative global platform that unifies hotel sustainability data, providing a reliable, transparent and unified ESG benchmarking foundation for the growing tourism market.
