As Vice President Lodging Development EMEA, Saahil looks after Marriott International’s development efforts in UAE and Oman, across all brands, through new hotels, affiliations, and conversions.

Saahil has over 18 years of hospitality development, investment, and advisory experience within the MEA region. Saahil has worked with different profiles of hotel owners and clients such as developers, investors/ investment funds, hotel operators, tourism ministries and multilateral organizations. For each of these clients, Saahil has delivered a combination of outputs such as concept building & development strategies, market & financial feasibilities, hotel operator search & negotiation strategy, operational audits & asset management, valuations, strategic business plans, masterplan reviews and destination development plans. Saahil’s project experience includes hotels & resorts (standalone/ multiple assets or hotel portfolio/ development of hotel chain), leisure/ entertainment (theme parks and water parks), malls, mixed use developments/ integrated tourism developments and tourism masterplans/ tourism strategies.

Prior to joining Marriott International, Saahil was leading the Hotel Advisory team at Colliers International MENA, based in Dubai, UAE. Saahil holds an Advanced Certificate in Hospitality Finance & Real Estate from ESEEC Business School (France), an MBA in Finance and Marketing from SIMS Pune (India) and a B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from IHM Mumbai (India).
