UN Tourism Women in Tech Startup Competition: Middle East for FHS World 2024

An initiative launched in 2023 by the United Nations agency specialising in tourism, it aims to highlight and support women entrepreneurs who are shaping the future of sustainable tourism and hospitality across the region.

For its second edition launched on May 2024, FHS joined efforts as an ecosystem partner to host its semifinals at the FHS World that took place in Dubai from 30 September to 2 October.

The competition targeted startups that were led by women and were based in the Middle East. Enterprises shortlisted were operating within the tourism sector and related industries, and offered sustainable solutions for people, the planet, and prosperity.
